Easy Pasta and Salad Comfort Bowl
Ingredients
- Rotini pasta
- Marinara sauce
- Frozen peas
- Crushed red pepper
- Hemp seeds
- Mixed greens
- Persian cucumbers
- Cherry tomatoes
- Roasted peppers
- Kalamata olives
- Vinaigrette
Preparation
Put on pasta water to boil.
Chop all veggies for the salad.
Cook pasta according to package directions, add frozen peas to the colander and drain the pasta over them to heat and keep bright green.
Microwave your favorite store-bought pasta sauce for 2 minutes.
Toss the pasta and peas with the sauce, sprinkle with hemp seeds and add crushed red pepper.
Tips
Look for a good quality pasta sauce with no preservatives or added sugar.
You can mix the pasta and salad together or serve them separately based on preference.
