Easy Pasta and Salad Comfort Bowl
Ingredients
- rotini pasta
- marinara sauce
- frozen peas
- crushed red peppers
- hemp seeds
Salad components
- mixed greens
- persian cucumbers
- sugar bomb cherry tomatoes
- roasted peppers
- calamata olives
- vinaigrette
Preparation
Put on pasta water to boil.
Chop all vegetables for the salad.
Cook pasta according to package directions, add frozen peas to the colander and drain the pasta over them to heat and keep them bright green.
Microwave your favorite store-bought pasta sauce for 2 minutes. Look for a good quality sauce with no preservatives or added sugar.
Toss the pasta and peas with the sauce, sprinkle with hemp seeds and add crushed red pepper.
Toss the chopped salad vegetables with vinaigrette to assemble the salad.
Serve the pasta and salad together in a bowl.
