Healthy Vegan Sweet Potato Banana Smoothie
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup steamed then frozen sweet potato
- 1 frozen banana
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp lucuma powder
- 1/2 tsp maca powder
- 2 Tbsp rolled oats
- 1/4 cup plant milk (I used almond)
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- water to consistency
Preparation
Blend all ingredients together.
Top with raw creamy nut butter, low FODMAP granola, and juicy blueberries.
Note: Sweet potatoes should be eaten steamed, boiled, or baked for highest nutritional benefits; limit servings to 1/2 cup cooked to avoid digestive issues.
