Homemade Spinach and Basil Pesto
Ingredients
- 1 cup fresh basil
- 1 cup spinach
- 1/2 cup pine nuts
- 1 garlic clove
- 1.5 tbsp fresh lemon juice
- 1 tsp nutritional yeast
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 2 tbsp water
- 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
Preparation
Blend all ingredients together in a high-speed blender or food processor.
Serving suggestions
Serve with pasta or as a spread in sandwiches or wraps.
It is super tasty warm or cold.
