Spicy Vegan Chili with Soy Protein

Ingredients

  • 800g tomato sauce
  • 400g water
  • 250g red cabbage
  • 125g textured soy protein
  • 200g mushrooms
  • 150g apple juice
  • 200g tomato paste
  • 2 onions
  • 3 cloves of garlic
  • 255g beans
  • 1/2 leek
  • 50g soy sauce
  • 1 tsp smoked salt
  • 2 tsp cumin
  • 2 tsp chili
  • 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1 lime
  • salt and pepper

Preparation

  1. Combine all ingredients in a large pot.

  2. Let it simmer for at least 30 minutes.

  3. Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper to taste.

  4. Serve hot.
