Sesame Garlic String Bean Bowls

Ingredients

Sauce

  • 1 Tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 Tablespoon red miso paste or tamari
  • 1 teaspoon maple syrup
  • 1/3 cup water

Main

  • 10 cloves garlic, minced
  • 24 oz. string beans

Preparation

  1. Whisk sesame oil, miso paste, maple syrup and water in a small bowl.

  2. Wash string beans and snap off ends.

  3. Heat a large pan or wok and add string beans.

  4. Add the sauce and toss well.

  5. Cover and cook for a few minutes until the string beans are just tender and serve.

Tips

  1. Serve with steamed rice and edamame for a complete meal.
