Apple Cinnamon Yoghurt Snack Bowl
Ingredients
- thick yoghurt or quark
- apple
- water
- cinnamon
- peanuts, almonds, or pumpkin seeds
- dates, figs, or raisins
- syrup, agave, or sugar-free syrup
Optional additions
- vanilla powder
- vanilla soy protein
- granola
Preparation
Choose a thick yoghurt or quark, preferably unsweetened or vanilla.
Chop an apple and add it to a frying pan with some water and cinnamon. Optionally, include vanilla powder and simmer until soft, adding more water as needed.
Chop some peanuts, almonds, or pumpkin seeds, and chop some dates, figs, or raisins.
Once the apples are soft, place them in a bowl with the yoghurt and top with the chopped dried fruit and nuts.
Drizzle with syrup, agave, or sugar-free syrup and serve.
Tips
For higher protein, mix a scoop of vanilla soy protein into the yoghurt.
Sprinkle granola on top for added crunch if available.
