Beer Battered Spicy Cauliflower
Ingredients
- Cauliflower
- Water
- Oil for deep frying
Marinade
- Vegenaise: 1 tablespoon
- Garam masala: 0.5 tablespoon
- Cumin powder: 1 teaspoon
- Coriander powder: 2 teaspoons
- Amchur powder: 1 teaspoon
Batter
- Flour: 2 tablespoons
- Corn flour: 3 tablespoons
- Salt: 1 teaspoon
- Pepper: 2 teaspoons
- Turmeric: 0.5 tablespoon
- Chili powder: 2 teaspoons
- Beer or cider: 1 cup
Preparation
This dish takes about 30 minutes to cook and is meant to be eaten quickly.
Bring a pot of water to boil and add cauliflower. Cook for 4-5 minutes and drain.
Allow cauliflower to completely cool and coat in marinade ingredients. Place in the fridge for 20-30 minutes.
Make a thin batter by mixing all the listed ingredients.
Dip cauliflower in batter and fry in olive oil.
