Beer Battered Spicy Cauliflower
Ingredients
- Cauliflower florets cut into bite size pieces
- Water
- Oil for deep frying
Marinade
- 1 tablespoon Vegenaise
- 1/2 tablespoon Garam masala
- 1 teaspoon Cumin powder
- 2 teaspoons Coriander powder
- 1 teaspoon Amchur powder
Batter
- 2 tablespoons Flour
- 3 tablespoons Corn flour
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 2 teaspoons Pepper
- 1/2 tablespoon Turmeric
- 2 teaspoons Chilly powder
- 1 cup Beer or cider
Preparation
Bring a pot of water to boil and add cauliflower. Cook for 4-5 minutes and drain.
Allow cauliflower to completely cool and coat in marinade ingredients. Place in the fridge for 20-30 minutes.
Make a thin batter by mixing all the listed ingredients.
Dip cauliflower in batter and fry in olive oil.
