Crispy Fried Cauliflower Wings

Ingredients

  • 300g cauliflower
  • 4 tablespoons flour or buckwheat flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon barbecue spice
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs or panko
  • 1 cup oil for frying

Preparation

  1. Chop the cauliflower in small pieces.

  2. In a bowl add flour, salt, baking powder, paprika, water and mix well.

  3. Dip the cauliflower pieces in the dough and breadcrumbs afterwards.

  4. Heat a saucepan with 1 cup of oil, carefully add the pieces and cook until light-golden and crispy.
