Easy Peasy Tomato Basil Crostini
Ingredients
- Cherry tomatoes
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Dry rosemary
- Mixed herbs
- 1-2 garlic cloves
- Salt
- Pepper
- Toasted bread
- Cream cheese or similar spread
- Fresh basil leaves
Preparation
Take some cherry tomatoes in a bowl
Add 2 tablespoons olive oil
Add dry rosemary and mixed herbs
Add finely chopped 1-2 garlic cloves
Add salt and pepper
Mix everything and cook in a hot pan until tomatoes are tender and charred
Let it come to room temperature
Take choice of toasted bread
Spread cream cheese or cottage cheese or any other creamy cheese or spread
Place the grilled tomatoes on top
Drizzle some leftover olive oil if desired
Add some freshly chopped basil leaves
Serve and enjoy
