Gluten-Free Baked Cauliflower Wings

Ingredients

  • 1 cauliflower
  • 1.5 dl (2/3 cups) gluten-free flour
  • 1.5 dl (2/3 cups) water
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 dl (1/2 cup) hot sauce
  • 2 tbsp vegan butter melted

Dip

  • Oat creme fraiche
  • 1 tbsp almond milk
  • cilantro
  • salt and pepper

Preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 225°C (435°F).

  2. Wash and cut cauliflower head into bite-sized pieces.

  3. Mix the water, flour and spices in a medium mixing bowl until the batter is thick and able to coat the cauliflower.

  4. Dip the cauliflower in the batter and lay it in a single layer on a lined baking sheet.

  5. Bake for 15 minutes until golden brown, then flip the florets and bake for another 10 minutes.

  6. Mix the vegan butter and hot sauce together, pour over the cauliflower florets, and bake for an additional 10 minutes.

  7. For the dip, mix oat creme fraiche, almond milk, cilantro, salt, and pepper to taste.
