Homemade Oil-Free Chickpea Hummus
Ingredients
- 2 cups cooked chickpeas
- 2 tsp garlic powder
- 7 tbsp aquafaba
- 6 tbsp lemon juice
- 2 tsp cumin powder
- 1.5 tsp sea salt
- 1/4 cup tahini
Optional additions
- Paprika
- Curry powder
- Other spices to taste
Preparation
Add the chickpeas to the bowl of a food processor and blend until pureed.
Add the garlic, lemon juice, cumin powder, salt and tahini. Turn the food processor on high and slowly stream in the aquafaba. Continue to blend until really smooth and creamy.
Season with additional salt or lemon juice, if needed.
Enjoy.
Tips
Add optional spices like paprika or curry powder for variety.
