Homemade Avocado Hummus Dip
Ingredients
- 1 15 oz can of chickpeas, rinsed and drained
- 3 tablespoons lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons tahini
- 2 small garlic cloves
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon cumin
- 1-2 tablespoons hot water
- 2 small avocados, halved, pitted, and peeled
- 2 tablespoons cilantro
Preparation
Combine all ingredients except hot water in a food processor or blender.
Blend until smooth, adding hot water as needed to achieve desired consistency.
Stir in cilantro or blend briefly if a smoother texture is preferred.
