Falafel with Spices and Chickpeas
Ingredients
- 200g chickpeas
- 1/2 onion
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp cilantro
- 1/2 tsp natron
- 1 tsp cinnamon
Preparation
Cut onions and garlic as small as possible.
Mix everything into a food processor until you get a sticky dough.
Do not over mix it.
Shape the mixture into small balls or patties.
Heat up a pan, add 2 tablespoons of oil and fry the falafels for 3 minutes on each side.
Serve and enjoy.
Tips
Adding cinnamon enhances the flavor and is a key component of this recipe.
