Oyster Mushroom Mexi Burger
Ingredients
Wet mixture
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1/2 cup oat milk
- 1 tsp hot sauce
Dry mixture
- 1 cup panko crumbs
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp oregano
- 1/2 tsp chilli flakes
- salt and pepper to taste
Other
- oyster mushrooms
- vegetable oil
- burger bun
- lettuce
- salsa
- corn chips
- butter
- guacamole
Preparation
Mix the wet mixture ingredients together in a bowl.
Mix the dry mixture ingredients together in another bowl.
Dip oyster mushrooms in the wet mixture, then coat them with the dry mixture.
Heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat and fry the coated mushrooms until golden and crispy.
Toast the burger bun with butter if desired.
Assemble the burger by placing lettuce, fried mushrooms, salsa, corn chips, and guacamole on the bun.
