Sticky / Saucy / Maple Sriracha Tofu
Ingredients
- - 3 tbsp maple syrup
- - 2 tbsp tamari (or soy sauce)
- - 2 tbsp sriracha
- - 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
- - 1 tbsp toasted sesame oil
- - 1/2 tsp garlic paste (optional)
- - 3 tbsp water
- - cornstarch slurry (mix 1 tbsp corn flour with 1 tbsp water, then add to sauce)
Preparation
Tip: play around with quantities to get the sauce exactly to your liking! some prefer a sauce that’s sweeter, saltier, more sour, etc
This sauce in particular i’ve made so many times, often with slightly different quantities, and while it might not be exactly the same every time, it’s ALWAYS delicious
