Vegan Thai-Style Potato Cakes
Ingredients
- 4 boiled potatoes
- 1/2 cup semolina
- 2 tablespoons nutritional yeast
- 1 tablespoon soya sauce
- 2 teaspoons salt
- Oil for frying
Thai paste
- 6 soaked red chillies
- 2 bird eye chillies
- 3 garlic
- 1 inch ginger
- 2 lime leaves
- 1 tablespoon lemongrass
- 1 tablespoon coriander stems
- 2 spring onions
- 2 shallots
- 1 tablespoon nori (optional)
- 1 tablespoon coriander powder
- 1/2 tablespoon cumin powder
- 1/2 tablespoon pepper powder
Preparation
Make a paste by grinding the listed ingredients together
Mix 2 tablespoons of paste with the other listed ingredients
Shape into cakes and fry in sesame or vegetable oil until crispy
