Thai Fishless Cakes
Ingredients
- potatoes: 4 boiled
- semolina: 1/2 c
- nutritional yeast: 2 t
- soya sauce: 1 t
- salt: 2 t
- oil for frying
- for thai paste:
- soaked red chilles: 6
- bird eye chillies: 2
- garlic: 3
- ginger: 1 inch
- lime leaves: 2
- lemongrass: 1 t
- coriander stems: 1 t
- spring onions: 2
- shallots: 2
- nori: 1 t (optional)
- coriander powder: 1 t
- cumin powder: 1/2 t
- pepper powder: 1/2 t
Preparation
Make a paste by grinding the listed ingredients together
Mix 2 T paste with the other listed ingredients
Shape into cakes and fry in sesame/vegetable oil till crispy
