Crispy Golden Sweet Potato Fries with Turmeric

Ingredients

  • 1 very large Hannah sweet potato
  • 2 medium Jewel sweet potatoes
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil
  • 2 teaspoons turmeric powder
  • 1-2 teaspoons black pepper
  • generous sprinkle of sea salt

Preparation

  1. Wash the sweet potatoes.

  2. Slice them into strips.

  3. Toss them in a large bowl with the coconut oil, turmeric powder, black pepper, and sea salt.

  4. Lay flat on a lined baking tray or cast iron skillet.

  5. Bake at 375 degrees for 25-30 minutes.

  6. Finish under the broiler for 2-3 minutes to make them extra crispy.
