Vegan Cheesy Garlic Mushroom Spinach Toasties
Ingredients
- 4 slices of bread (optional gluten-free)
- 100 ml pesto sauce
- 125 g vegan grated cheese
- salt
- pepper
- pizza spice (optional)
- olive oil for drizzling
- fresh basil (optional)
- garlic
- mushrooms
- spinach
Preparation
Preheat the oven to 180°C using circulating heat.
Toast the bread slices in a toaster for 1-2 minutes.
Meanwhile, prepare your toppings by chopping garlic, mushrooms, and spinach into small pieces
Place the toasted bread slices on a baking sheet lined with baking paper.
Add a generous spoonful of pesto sauce and spread it to the corners with the back of the spoon.
Top with the prepared toppings and grated vegan cheese.
Drizzle with a little olive oil if desired.
Bake in the preheated oven for about 10 minutes until the cheese has melted.
Remove from the oven and serve garnished with fresh basil or other herbs if desired.
