Mocha Ceres Chiffon Cake
Ingredients
- 5 egg yolks
- 85g low-protein flour
- 15g cocoa powder
- 50ml vegetable oil
- 15g granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon mocha paste
- a pinch of salt
Egg whites
- 5 egg whites
- 25g granulated sugar
Coating
- 200ml whipped cream
- 1 tablespoon powdered sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon mocha paste
- ceres sprinkles
Preparation
Mix all basic ingredients and paste, stir evenly, and set aside as chocolate batter
Beat egg whites with sugar until stiff peaks form
Gently fold egg whites into chocolate batter until well combined
Pour batter into a 20cm chiffon cake pan
Bake for 50-60 minutes at 155-175°C
For the coating, beat all ingredients except sprinkles with a mixer
Spread and coat the chiffon cake and sprinkle with ceres
Serve
