Vegan Chocolate Banana Cake
Ingredients
- 3 medium overripe bananas
- 1 cup vegan milk
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/3 cup chocolate chips
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 2 1/2 tbsp cocoa powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup regular sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
Preparation
Smash the bananas in a bowl.
Add all the liquid ingredients and mix well.
Sift all the dry ingredients and mix them into the batter.
Add the chocolate chips and fold them into the batter. Pour the batter into a baking dish. Optional: Top with nuts, seeds, and additional chocolate.
Bake at 170 degrees Celsius for 35-40 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
Serve the cake warm and enjoy.
