Moist Vegan Marble Cake

Ingredients

  • 90g margarine
  • 140g silken tofu
  • 160g brown sugar
  • 120g soy cream
  • 230g all-purpose flour
  • 5g baking powder
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1 packet vanilla sugar
  • 15g cocoa powder
  • 1 tablespoon soy cream

Preparation

  1. Preheat the oven to 165°C and place 90g margarine in it to melt during preheating

  2. Mix 140g silken tofu, 160g brown sugar with 120g soy cream, then add 230g all-purpose flour, 5g baking powder, and a pinch of salt

  3. Pour in the melted margarine and mix again

  4. Divide the batter into two equal parts in separate bowls

  5. Add one packet of vanilla sugar to one part and 15g cocoa powder plus 1 tablespoon soy cream to the other

  6. Prepare a cake mold with parchment paper or margarine and flour

  7. Alternate layers of vanilla and chocolate batter

  8. Bake for 50-60 minutes

  9. At 15 minutes before the end of cooking, make a cut along the length of the cake for even rising

  10. Let cool before serving

Tips

  1. You can do everything directly in a mixer with the paddle attachment, not the blade
