Simple Passion Fruit Marble Cake for Family
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup concentrated passion fruit juice
- 2 eggs
- 4 tablespoons margarine
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 level tablespoon baking powder
- 4 tablespoons cocoa powder
- Margarine and flour for greasing the pan
Preparation
Blend the juice, eggs, margarine, sugar, flour, and salt in a blender until smooth
Add the baking powder and mix with a spoon
Pour half of the batter into a bowl
Add the cocoa powder to the remaining batter in the blender and mix with a spoon
Pour the batters by spoonfuls, alternating colors, into a large greased and floured loaf pan
Bake in a preheated medium oven for 30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean
Let cool and unmold
