Simple Blender Chocolate Cake with Chocolate Frosting
Ingredients
Cake batter
- 1 cup warm milk
- 3 eggs
- 4 tablespoons melted margarine
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 cup cocoa powder
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
Chocolate frosting
- 1 cup sugar
- 3 tablespoons cornstarch
- 5 tablespoons cocoa powder
- 1 cup water
- 3 tablespoons margarine or butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Preparation
Cake batter
Blend all cake batter ingredients except baking powder in a blender for 2 to 3 minutes
Add baking powder and blend for 15 seconds
Pour into a round cake pan greased with butter and dusted with flour
Bake for 40 minutes in a preheated oven at 180Β°C (350Β°F)
Chocolate frosting
Cook all chocolate frosting ingredients over medium heat until thickened to a fudge-like consistency
Pour over the cake immediately
