Double Chocolate Energy Balls

Ingredients

  • 1 cup dates
  • 1 cup oats
  • 3 tbsp plant milk (potentially a little extra may be needed)
  • 3 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 175g dark chocolate

Preparation

  1. Take the seed out of the dates and cut into chunks. Add these chunks to a blender/food processor. Blend the dates until a paste has been created

  2. Add the oats, milk and cocoa powder to the date paste and blend until combined. Don’t be afraid to tip out into a bowl and get your hands in there

  3. Chop up 25g of the chocolate and add to the date mixture. Mix in

  4. Melt the remaining dark chocolate in a pan/the microwave

  5. Whilst the chocolate is melting, roll the date mixture into balls. Repeat this step until all the date mixture has been used up

  6. Take a date ball and roll around in the melted chocolate until covered. Then place onto a plate. Repeat this step until all the date balls have been covered in chocolate. Set to one side and wait for the chocolate to set
