Chocolate Cake Protein Balls
Ingredients
- 200 g dates, pitted and soaked
- 60 g warm water
- 200 g oats, blended
- 30 g protein powder (chocolate ice cream flavor)
- 20 g shredded coconut (plus extra for rolling)
- 10 g cocoa powder
Preparation
Blend the oats if not using oat flour, and transfer them to a separate bowl.
Soak the dates for 10 minutes, then rinse them.
Add warm water to the dates and blend until a puree forms.
Combine the date puree with the dry ingredients (blended oats, protein powder, shredded coconut, cocoa powder) and blend until well combined.
Chill the mixture in the fridge for a short while.
Shape the mixture into small balls.
Roll the balls in shredded coconut to coat.
