Pan-Seared Pork Ribs with Herbs
Ingredients
- 1.2 kg pork spare ribs
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1/2 scallion
- 3 rosemary sprigs
- 2 bay leaves
- 100 ml extra virgin olive oil
- 1 glass beer or wine (optional)
- salt
- pepper
Preparation
Heat oil in a skillet over high heat.
Brown the pork ribs on all sides.
Add garlic, scallion, rosemary, and bay leaves.
Optionally, pour in beer or wine.
Reduce heat to low, cover, and cook until ribs are tender.
Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Tips
For tender and flavorful ribs, brown them on high heat before cooking covered on low heat.
