Sweet and Spicy Sriracha Vegan Chicken

Ingredients

Sauce

  • 3 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 1/2 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1 tbsp sriracha
  • 1 1/2 tsp cornstarch
  • 1/2 tsp ground ginger

Components

  • Enough vegan chicken pieces for 2
  • 1 tsp cornstarch
  • Freshly cooked rice for 2
  • Sesame seeds for topping

Preparation

  1. Heat a little oil in a frying pan over a medium heat. Add in the No Chick strips and cook for 5 minutes until starting to turn golden brown. Sprinkle 1 tsp of cornstarch over, stir and cook for a further 2-3 minutes.

  2. Mix the sauce ingredients in a small bowl, then pour into the frying pan. Stir and cook for 1-2 minutes until all the chicken is coated.

  3. Serve with rice, sesame seeds and fresh coriander. Enjoy!
