Quick Vegan Sriracha Chicken
Ingredients
- Enough vegan ‘chicken’ pieces for 2
- 1 tsp cornstarch
- Freshly cooked rice for 2
- Sesame seeds (for topping)
Sauce
- 3 tbsp rice vinegar
- 3 tbsp soy sauce
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1 1/2 tbsp maple syrup
- 1 tbsp sriracha
- 1 1/2 tsp cornstarch
- 1/2 tsp ground ginger
Preparation
Heat a little oil in a frying pan over a medium heat. Add in the No Chick strips and cook for 5 minutes until starting to turn golden brown. Sprinkle 1 tsp of cornstarch over, stir and cook for a further 2-3 minutes.
Mix the sauce ingredients in a small bowl, then pour into the frying pan. Stir and cook for 1-2 minutes until all the chicken is coated.
Serve with rice, sesame seeds and fresh coriander. Enjoy.
