Sweet Potato and Carrot Soup with Turmeric and Ginger
Ingredients
- Oven-roasted sweet potato
- 1 liter carrot soup (made from 3 carrots cooked with salt, pepper, and 1 teaspoon thyme)
- Fresh turmeric (size of a fingernail)
- Fresh ginger (size of two fingernails)
- 1 tablespoon creamed coconut
- 1 whole blood orange
Preparation
Blend everything together and let it cool down a bit.
Add one whole orange and blend it with the soup.
Serve with fresh chili, coriander, pepper, buckwheat sprouts, and a bit of Ume shiso seasoning.
