Sweet Potato and Carrot Soup with Turmeric and Ginger

Ingredients

  • Oven-roasted sweet potato
  • 1 liter carrot soup (made from 3 carrots cooked with salt, pepper, and 1 teaspoon thyme)
  • Fresh turmeric (size of a fingernail)
  • Fresh ginger (size of two fingernails)
  • 1 tablespoon creamed coconut
  • 1 whole blood orange

Preparation

  1. Blend everything together and let it cool down a bit.

  2. Add one whole orange and blend it with the soup.

  3. Serve with fresh chili, coriander, pepper, buckwheat sprouts, and a bit of Ume shiso seasoning.
