Vegan Buffalo Chickpea Pizza

Ingredients

  • @eatbanza Chickpea Crust
  • 1-2 cloves garlic
  • 1 can chickpeas
  • 1/4-1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4-1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4-1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/4 cup plus 3 tablespoons @sbrbbq Buffalo Wing Sauce
  • Vegan mozzarella

Optional toppings

  • @bitchinsauce (Original or Cilantro Chili)
  • chives
  • cilantro
  • avocado
  • nutritional yeast

Preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F/204°C.

  2. Thinly slice the garlic.

  3. Drain and rinse the chickpeas.

  4. Toss the chickpeas in the seasoning until well coated.

  5. Toss the chickpeas in 1/4 cup buffalo sauce until well coated.

  6. Cover a baking tray with aluminum foil and add the pizza crust to the tray.

  7. Coat the bottom of the pizza with about 3 tablespoons of buffalo sauce.

  8. Add the garlic slices on top of the sauce.

  9. Cover with vegan mozzarella and top with the chickpeas.

  10. Cook for 10-15 minutes until the cheese melts, watching to ensure it does not overcook.

  11. While the pizza is cooking, chop the extra toppings such as chives, cilantro, and avocados.

  12. Remove the pizza when done cooking.

  13. Drizzle with Bitchin Sauce and add the extra toppings.
