Speculaas Marzipan Chocolate Balls

Ingredients

  • 150 g Speculaas cookies
  • 130 g white chocolate
  • 50 g cream cheese
  • 50 g ground almonds
  • 50 g marzipan

Preparation

  1. Mix the speculaas cookies in a good stand mixer or grinder to fine crumbs.

  2. Put 120 grams of the crumbs into a bowl and save 30 grams for later.

  3. Add the ground almonds to the bowl and mix.

  4. Melt the white chocolate over a water bath.

  5. Stir the cream cheese into the melted chocolate and then slowly stir in the dry mixture.

  6. Place the dough in the refrigerator to cool for one hour.

  7. Take a hazelnut-sized portion of marzipan and form small balls around it with the speculaas dough.

  8. Put the remaining 30 grams of speculaas crumbs in a small bowl and roll each ball individually in them.

  9. Chill the finished balls.
