Sweetheart Snickers Dates Treat
Ingredients
- 10-15 Medjool dates (pitted)
- 10 tbsp nut butter (peanut, almond or cashew)
- 100g dark chocolate, melted (or milk chocolate, if preferred)
- 2 tbsp crushed peanuts (for topping)
- A pinch of sea salt (optional)
Preparation
Slice each date lengthways without cutting all the way through to create a pocket.
Spoon about 1/2 teaspoon of nut butter into the centre of each date.
Using a fork, dip each stuffed date into the melted chocolate, letting the excess drip off. Or simply drizzle the melted chocolate over the dates.
Place coated dates on a baking paper-lined tray. Sprinkle crushed peanuts and a pinch of sea salt on top.
Pop them in the fridge for 15–20 minutes or until the chocolate hardens.
