Vanilla Protein Donuts with Aronia Berry Frosting

Ingredients

Dough

  • 100ml soy milk
  • 50ml maple syrup
  • 1/2 tsp apple cider vinegar
  • 60g apple sauce
  • 100g whole grain spelt flour
  • 1 scoop vanilla protein powder
  • 2 tsp baking powder

Frosting

  • 80g vegan white chocolate
  • 1 tsp coconut oil
  • 1/2 tsp aronia berry powder

Preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F)

  2. Mix the dough ingredients together to form a batter

  3. Pour the batter into donut molds and bake for about 18 minutes

  4. Melt the vegan white chocolate and coconut oil together, then stir in the aronia berry powder to make the frosting

  5. Allow the donuts to cool, then frost them with the prepared frosting
