Vegan Baked Donuts with White Chocolate Frosting
Ingredients
Dough
- 100ml soy milk
- 50ml maple syrup
- 1/2 tsp apple cider vinegar
- 60g apple sauce
- 100g whole grain spelt flour
- 1 scoop vanilla protein powder
- 2 tsp baking powder
Frosting
- 80g vegan white chocolate
- 1 tsp coconut oil
- 1/2 tsp aronia berry powder
Preparation
Preheat oven to 180°C(350F)
Mix together wet ingredients in a small bowl.
In a bigger bowl add all dry ingredients and mix as well. Add wet to dry ingredients and whisk together.
Grease a muffin tin and fill in the dough. Bake for about 18 minutes.
Let them cool down then remove them from the form.
Meanwhile melt the chocolate over a waterbath. Add 1 tsp of coconut oil and berry powder and mix.
Dip the Donuts into the melted chocolate and place them on a cooling rack. Optionally decorate them with some coconut shreds and more berry powder.
