Cinnamon Spiced Pear Bread for Family Breakfast
Ingredients
- 500g ripe pears, core removed
- 300g oats
- 100g butter
- 3 eggs or chia eggs
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1.5 teaspoons baking powder
- 100g chocolate chips (optional)
Preparation
Blend the pears to a smooth pulp.
Whisk up the butter and then stir in the rest of the ingredients except the pear purée.
Finally add the pear purée and stir well.
Pour into a greased and lined baking tin. (A loaf tin, 15cm cake tin, or 20cm square tin can be used.)
Bake at 180°C for 40 minutes.
Leave to cool before slicing and serving.
Tips
Can use chia eggs instead of eggs for an egg-free version.
Serve drizzled with peanut butter and sliced banana for breakfast.
