Sugar-Free Carrot Walnut Milkshake

Ingredients

  • 6-7 Chilean walnuts
  • 6 soaked seedless dates (including soaking water)
  • 1 medium carrot, grated
  • 2 cardamom powder (or cinnamon or dry ginger powder)
  • 2 cups milk

Garnish

  • additional grated carrot
  • additional Chilean walnuts

Preparation

  1. In a blender jar, add 6-7 Chilean walnuts.

  2. Add 6 soaked seedless dates along with their soaking water.

  3. Add one medium grated carrot.

  4. Add 2 cardamom powder or an alternative spice such as cinnamon or dry ginger powder.

  5. Blend everything together until a smooth paste forms.

  6. Transfer the paste to 2 cups of milk.

  7. Blend again until the mixture is smooth and well combined.

  8. Serve the milkshake, optionally adding extra grated carrot and walnuts for garnish.

Tips

  1. This milkshake can be enjoyed anytime, but it is ideal for breakfast to provide an energy boost.
