Berry Crumble Ice Cream Cones
Ingredients
- 1 cup blueberries
- 1 cup raspberries
- 2 cups strawberries, chopped
- 3 tablespoons corn starch
- 1/2 cup maple syrup
- 1/2 cup almonds, roughly chopped
- Waffle cones, for serving
- Ice cream, for serving
Preparation
Preheat the oven to 180°C
Wash the berries and chop the strawberries into smaller pieces
Place all the berries into a baking dish and dust them with corn starch
Drizzle maple syrup over the berries and sprinkle with chopped almonds
Put the baking dish in the oven and bake for 25-30 minutes
Remove from the oven and let it cool for 10 minutes
Fill the waffle cones with the berry mixture and top each with a scoop of ice cream
Tips
Create layers of berries and ice cream in the cone for a parfait-like effect
