Berry Crumble Ice Cream Cones

Ingredients

  • 1 cup blueberries
  • 1 cup raspberries
  • 2 cups strawberries, chopped
  • 3 tablespoons corn starch
  • 1/2 cup maple syrup
  • 1/2 cup almonds, roughly chopped
  • Waffle cones, for serving
  • Ice cream, for serving

Preparation

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C

  2. Wash the berries and chop the strawberries into smaller pieces

  3. Place all the berries into a baking dish and dust them with corn starch

  4. Drizzle maple syrup over the berries and sprinkle with chopped almonds

  5. Put the baking dish in the oven and bake for 25-30 minutes

  6. Remove from the oven and let it cool for 10 minutes

  7. Fill the waffle cones with the berry mixture and top each with a scoop of ice cream

Tips

  1. Create layers of berries and ice cream in the cone for a parfait-like effect

  2. Enjoy immediately
