Weird Asparagus Lasagne with Celery and Herbs

Ingredients

  • 500g white asparagus
  • Handful parsley
  • 4 strings celery
  • 1 onion
  • Splash of lemon
  • salt
  • pepper
  • Pinch of sugar
  • Lasagne pasta
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 4tb plantbased butter
  • 4tb flour
  • 300ml plantbased milk
  • 1ts vegetable spice
  • Nutmeg
  • Plantbased cheese

Preparation

  1. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees circulating air

  2. Peel the asparagus and chop away the ends

  3. Chop in aslant pieces

  4. Get a pot of water with salt and a bit of sugar to a boil

  5. Add the asparagus

  6. Cook for about four minutes

  7. Sieve but keep the water of the asparagus

  8. Chop onion and garlic

  9. Add 4tb of plantbased butter to a pot

  10. Add onion and garlic

  11. Add flour and stir together

  12. Slowly add in the milk bit by bit and keep stirring

  13. Mix in 200ml of the asparagus water

  14. Get boiling and keep stirring for a couple more minutes

  15. Add salt, pepper and nutmeg

  16. Chop celery in small pieces

  17. Mix with a bit of lemon juice, veggie spice and chopped parsley

  18. Take a baking tin and first add sauce, then asparagus then pasta

  19. Repeat until the tin is full (finish off with sauce)

  20. Add plantbased cheese on top

  21. Bake for 30-40 minutes
