Nutella and Chocolate Chip Muffins
Ingredients
Dry
- 1.5 cups flour
- 3/4 cup white sugar
- pinch of salt
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
Wet
- 1/3 cup oil
- 1/3 cup milk (adjust to 1/2 cup if desired)
- 1 large egg
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
- pinch of instant coffee
Toppings
- Nutella (about 1 teaspoon per muffin)
- semi-sweet chocolate chips
Preparation
Mix the dry ingredients together.
Add the wet ingredients and mix with a spoon.
Distribute the batter into muffin tins using an ice cream scoop, after lining them with paper or greasing.
Decorate each muffin with a teaspoon of Nutella and shape it using a skewer.
Sprinkle with semi-sweet chocolate chips.
Bake at 190°C with fan for the first 10 minutes, then reduce temperature to 175°C until the edges are browned.
