Nutella and Chocolate Chip Muffins

Ingredients

Dry

  • 1.5 cups flour
  • 3/4 cup white sugar
  • pinch of salt
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder

Wet

  • 1/3 cup oil
  • 1/3 cup milk (adjust to 1/2 cup if desired)
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • pinch of instant coffee

Toppings

  • Nutella (about 1 teaspoon per muffin)
  • semi-sweet chocolate chips

Preparation

  1. Mix the dry ingredients together.

  2. Add the wet ingredients and mix with a spoon.

  3. Distribute the batter into muffin tins using an ice cream scoop, after lining them with paper or greasing.

  4. Decorate each muffin with a teaspoon of Nutella and shape it using a skewer.

  5. Sprinkle with semi-sweet chocolate chips.

  6. Bake at 190°C with fan for the first 10 minutes, then reduce temperature to 175°C until the edges are browned.
