Mini Chocolate Cheese Tart

Ingredients

Dough

  • 1 1/4 cups flour
  • 1/2 cup butter, soft
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 5 cubes of cream cheese, soft
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Filling

  • 5 cubes of cream cheese, soft
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup fine granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup chocolate chips

Decoration

  • powdered sugar

Preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C and prepare mini cupcake molds.

  2. For the dough: In a food processor, combine flour, butter, powdered sugar, cream cheese, and vanilla extract; process until a smooth dough forms.

  3. Divide the dough into balls and press them into the molds to cover the bottom and sides.

  4. For the filling: In a food processor, combine cream cheese, eggs, vanilla extract, and fine granulated sugar; process until smooth.

  5. Spread the filling over the dough in the molds.

  6. Sprinkle chocolate chips over the filling.

  7. Bake for 15 minutes or until golden brown. Allow to cool, then dust with powdered sugar before serving.
