Minimalistic Chard Salad for Christmas Gathering

Ingredients

  • 500g chard
  • 2 handful pine nuts
  • Olive oil
  • 2 handful raisins
  • 1 onion
  • 5 dried tomatoes
  • Pinch of nutmeg
  • 1/2 lemon

Preparation

  1. Cut your chard into pieces

  2. Separate leaves and stem pieces

  3. Toast your nuts until golden

  4. Chop onion in small pieces and fry in oil

  5. Add water to a pot and cook the chard stems for 2 minutes

  6. Add raisins and chard leaves

  7. Chop your tomatoes

  8. Cook for another 3-4 minutes

  9. Mix with onion, tomatoes and pine nuts

  10. Season with salt, pepper, olive oil, lemon and pinch of nutmeg
