Pesto with Wild Garlic and Carrot Tops

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup of wild garlic leaves
  • 1/2 cup of carrot tops
  • 1 cup of basil
  • 1/2 cup of walnuts
  • 2 tablespoons of toasted pine nuts
  • 2 tablespoons of nutritional yeast
  • 1 teaspoon of Himalayan salt
  • 1 teaspoon of ground black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • Juice from 1/2 lemon

Preparation

  1. Blend all ingredients together.

  2. Serve with whole grain pasta or on rye toast.
