Pesto with Wild Garlic and Carrot Tops
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup of wild garlic leaves
- 1/2 cup of carrot tops
- 1 cup of basil
- 1/2 cup of walnuts
- 2 tablespoons of toasted pine nuts
- 2 tablespoons of nutritional yeast
- 1 teaspoon of Himalayan salt
- 1 teaspoon of ground black pepper
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- Juice from 1/2 lemon
Preparation
Blend all ingredients together.
Serve with whole grain pasta or on rye toast.
