Tangy Spicy Raw Mango Thecha

Ingredients

  • Raw mango
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 5-6 garlic cloves
  • 5-6 green chilies
  • 1/3 cup raw peanuts
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 cup fresh coriander

Preparation

  1. Peel and cut the raw mango into cubes

  2. In a kadai, heat 1 tablespoon oil

  3. Add 1 teaspoon cumin

  4. Add 5-6 garlic cloves

  5. Add 5-6 green chilies

  6. Add 1/3 cup raw peanuts

  7. Add salt to taste

  8. Cook on medium flame until peanuts are nicely cooked

  9. Remove from heat and mix with the raw mango

  10. Mix everything well and pound the mixture

  11. While pounding, add 1 cup fresh coriander

  12. The raw mango thecha is ready

  1. Pair with rice, breads, or as a side to grilled meats
