Kimchi and Silken Tofu Soup
Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons sesame oil
- 1/2 tablespoon red pepper powder (or more)
- 2-3 garlic cloves
- 2 green onions or 1 large onion
- 300g kimchi
- 400g water
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon Kelpamare (optional)
- 1 block silken tofu (400g)
- Handful of beans (about 6 pods)
Preparation
In a saucepan, preferably cast iron, sauté the minced garlic with sesame oil, chili, and the white part of the green onions for a few minutes.
Once the aromas have developed, add soy sauce, kelpamare, chopped kimchi, beans, and water.
Boil for a few minutes then add large spoonfuls of silken tofu.
When everything is hot, serve and sprinkle with the green part of the green onions.
