Cinnamon Brown Sugar Roasted Apple Treat

Ingredients

  • 1 gala apple
  • olive oil
  • dark brown sugar
  • cinnamon

Serving items

  • oat yoghurt
  • granola
  • crushed pecans
  • extra cinnamon

Preparation

  1. Slice a gala apple in half and core it.

  2. Coat the apple halves in a mixture of olive oil, dark brown sugar, and plenty of cinnamon.

  3. Roast the coated apple halves at 190°C for 20 minutes.

  4. Serve with oat yoghurt, topped with a sprinkle of granola, crushed pecans, and extra cinnamon.

  5. Note: Use a vegan dark brown sugar, such as Tesco's brand, for a vegan version.

  6. Tip: Oat yoghurt is preferred over soy yoghurt for better taste.
