Cinnamon Brown Sugar Roasted Apple Treat
Ingredients
- 1 gala apple
- olive oil
- dark brown sugar
- cinnamon
Serving items
- oat yoghurt
- granola
- crushed pecans
- extra cinnamon
Preparation
Slice a gala apple in half and core it.
Coat the apple halves in a mixture of olive oil, dark brown sugar, and plenty of cinnamon.
Roast the coated apple halves at 190°C for 20 minutes.
Serve with oat yoghurt, topped with a sprinkle of granola, crushed pecans, and extra cinnamon.
Note: Use a vegan dark brown sugar, such as Tesco's brand, for a vegan version.
Tip: Oat yoghurt is preferred over soy yoghurt for better taste.
