Creamy Avocado Hummus Dip
Ingredients
- 1 cup boiled chickpeas
- 2 tablespoons sesame seeds
- 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
- 2-3 garlic cloves
- coriander leaves (optional)
- juice of 1/2 lime
- salt to taste
- 1 avocado
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
Preparation
In a blender, combine chickpeas, sesame seeds, cumin seeds, garlic, optional coriander leaves, lime juice, and salt; blend on pulse mode.
Add avocado and olive oil, then blend again until smooth.
Serving suggestions
Drizzle with olive oil, sprinkle chilli flakes, and add a few olives on top.
Serve with chips, pita bread, or use as a sandwich spread.
Notes
This hummus is made without tahini and is high in protein and healthy fats from avocados and chickpeas.
